Professionalise your running training with our Garmin Standard Heart Rate Chest Strap! When you wear it during your workout, your heart rate will be sent wirelessly to your compatible Garmin device. So you can immediately draw conclusions from your training and know how hard you train. The front part of the strap contains the heart rate module and is made of flexible plastic. The back part of the strap is made of soft fabric and can be easily adjusted to your size. Using and caring for your strap is a breeze. After the first connection to your Garmin device, the connection is set up automatically. The strap can be easily disassembled and washed.

Tips for avoiding measurement inaccuracies 

To ensure an ideal transmission of the heart frequency signal, you should note the following points: 

- Always ensure sufficient moisture and keep the contact surface between the skin and chest strap sufficiently wet, either with water, contact gels other conductive liquids or sufficient sweat 

- Avoid clothing that is heavily fluttering or otherwise producing friction with the chest strap, as this can lead to static charge and thus interference with the pulse signals. 

- Attach the chest strap just below the sternum so that the contact surfaces fit snugly against the body but do not slip. The Garmin logo of the transmitter must not be upside down. Pay attention to the markings for left "L" and right "R".
